G7 Sinma Live Bull Frog Claypot Porridge @ Bukit Timah

The last time I had frog porridge here was months ago when my boss brought me here for lunch. Apparently their main branch is in Geylang (so far good gracious) and now they have another branch over at Bukit Timah (so near hooray).
Fried Prawn Salad - S$12
In my opinion, I really think this tasted awesome.
宫保田鸡 (Gong Bao Bull Frog) - S$22

I like I like I like!! I don't think this would be anywhere near my comfort food, but I love the gravy with porridge. Yes, you can have all the frog meat and leave the gravy to me. Side note, frog meat tastes pretty much similar to chicken meat, just that usually people get really turned off by the 'frog' being mentioned. That's why people always say 田鸡 (direct translation: Field Chicken) and not frog.

This portion was just nice for both of us. Perhaps it'd be better without the side? The porridge is the teochew style, not so watery hence it's rather filling to the tummy.
After dinner, bf and I popped by I.R.C (at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre) for pool. It's our first pool session together, and it's no surprise I suck at it and my poor finger kept knocking against the table hard. I foresee bruising tomorrow. Pool is not my forte, now bf finally understood why I refrained from embarrassing myself in public.
