六十大壽

Makes me wonder if I can survive and celebrate at this age too? It's really something worth celebrating because it's not easy to survive and bring up your own family. Being a mom/dad is never easy and this role doesn't stop even when you're 100 years old. Respect to all parents for their effort and hope all parents enjoy their birthdays with loved ones! <3

Here's a little 'hi' from us:

Obviously we're not the main characters for this post. Maybe in about 32 years, it'll be his time. And another 37 years for me. Sounds a tad bit far-fetched for us, but we're almost at the half-point! Scary to age so fast.

Happy birthday uncle & auntie!
It's their first meal treated by their dearest son, aka my dearest bf, and also their first ang pao received from him. Stay healthy, blessed & happy! Thank you for inviting me to this celebration!

In case you haven't guessed correctly from the background, we're at Pan Pacific Hotel at Hai Tien Lou, which was the exact same place where my sister had her solemnization dinner in the VIP room. Pretty atas ikr. This dinner costed more than S$500, so thank you bf too for the treat!

Don't ask me why my bf so tall despite his parents not being that tall (though still tall). Somehow I think he has his father's eyes and mom's nose. Don't you think?

No cakes but there's longevity peach (寿桃) in replacement. Holy moly this is mega huge!!! And there's twenty-eight mini peaches hidden in the 'peach'. Oh my god! It's also my first time seeing and eating this too! Wow ..... I'm really amazed by our Chinese tradition and how creative things can get.
