As I mentioned in one of my recent post, I got a customized iPhone cover from PrintVenue for my bf's birthday. Why them? Because they were all over my Facebook. I have serious trust issues with these unknown companies but since it was promoted by Facebook, I took a leap of faith ......
For people who have trust issues like me, I hope this post would be useful for your decision making.
First of all, do take note that printvenue.sg is NOT a Singapore company. Do not be deceived by the web link itself! The main website is printvenue.com; the company is from India.
Here's how to home page looks like:

So I found what I wanted under:
"All Products" > "Mobile Cases" > "iPhone 5/5S Cases"
They have a wide selection under the cases for selection. They didn't state anything regarding copyrights too (normally customization are not allowed to use brands with copyrights). Feeling confused, I decided to ask help from their support team regarding the casing colors etc.
Email: "Thank you for your sharing concern with us. Please not that the mobile covers that we have are black only."
Website: "Case color: White"
Hello hello? Do you see the inconsistency? Regardless, yours truly decided to trust the email contents > website contents. By common sense, there's a higher probability that the website may not be updated, and the support team naturally should be more well-informed right?
Note: My photo alignment.
After confirming all the details for my purchase, I then signed up for a new account. They gave me a free sign-up voucher - 20% off on subtotal, i.e. the total amount not inclusive of shipping. Of course there's hidden terms and conditions - discount is maxed at S$10. Seriously, how sneaky are they!
What PrintVenue proclaims:
Website: "Order starts getting processed within 24 hours."
Website: "We attempt to process every paid order and ship within 4 working days."
Website: "Your order will reach you within 7 working days."
What actually happened:
16 February 2015, Monday - Order placed
23 February 2015, Monday - Order in process
24 February 2015, Tuesday - Order in process
So much for order getting processed within 24 hours!!
Honestly I was getting way to frustrated with their support team since they're not answering my damn email! I can't believe I acted like a desperate customer that I went to contact them through Facebook. Apparently they replied my Facebook faster than they reply email!?!?!
Finally:
Finally:
DHL is awesome. I received my goods in two days!
But my happiness was short-lived.
What I did previously:
Me: "Please do make sure that the cover is indeed black cover because the photo I've uploaded is black."
What I received:
Does this look like black cover to you? *Squints* It's still frigging white!
Did I align the photo to be in the center? F'king ........ N-O!
(And there's defects on the casing itself too, like red little markings.)
Angry yuya is angry:
They assured 3 working days, but no reply from them.
So apparently they think this is justifiable as a reply? Worse customer service EVER.
Conclusion: I am never going to patronize from India companies. & I am never going to trust Facebook's recommendations. Indeed I received a free casing at the end of the day, but hell no I am not happy. My bf's birthday casing could've been better if not for them. Definitely blacklisting them forever!!
I was already on the verge of reporting them to CASE, but since they refunded me the $ in time, I decided to let it go. If I spent more money with them, it'd be a different case.
Well, if you'd like to 'trust', go ahead. Hope you're lucky enough not to end up like me.
