Good Year Coffee Shop @ Tampines Ave

As always, mom-dad-me celebrated our birthdays today since our birthdays fall in between 9 days. I highly suspect they planned for me to be born in early November. This was a super early celebration because brother is flying off to army outfield in a week, and my mom believes that celebrations are ominous if delayed.

Sister brought us to Good Year Seafood Village which was located in the midst of temples. So isolated yet blooming with crowd. How do people even know the existence of this place?

Asam Fishhead
This is really good!! Asam is sour and spicy, true blue Malaysian flavors.
That pincers' size!

Sister pre-ordered three biggest crabs and we did it three ways - Black Pepper, Salted Egg and Steam Egg; it was all good. I'm missing a photo of the salted egg because it was the last to come and my hands were already in such mess that I couldn't bear to stain my phone. The meat in all of the crabs were firm and good, done to perfection! *Thumbs up*

Black pepper was my least favorite because it had a weird sweet taste to the sauce? And not spicy at all. My favorite was surprisingly the steamed egg which didn't look so appetizing initially. The salted egg was amazing too but I'm never a fan of salted egg so yep. Please try their crabs when you're over there! It's a major must-try dishes of all!

We ordered a few other dishes but I was too busy indulging .....

Our Japanese style strawberry cheesecake
The boss was really nice. He insisted on shifting the table out to make the photo more cosy. Aww.
Was being stupid about the ribbon and I'm sure you can tell he was forced to take a shot with me.
