Windows 8.1

Am I the only one who's forced to update my Windows 8 to 8.1? The system prompted me, 'Do you wish to finish the Windows 8.1 update manually? If not it'll complete updating in two days.' What was I supposed to do? There's is no button to say NO at all!

I am so pissed, so annoyed, and by the time this post go live, I'm am still upset over how screwed up my laptop is.

Long story short, I used to support Asus because everyone raved about how amazing the firmware was so last year I decided to choose Asus over Apple. I was unable to get any laptops with Windows 7 and if I was to downgrade, I would need to pay extra. Makes no sense right? So I was stuck with Windows 8. Apparently as Windows 8 was fairly new, it was incompatible with Asus firmware. There's plenty issues with my laptop which in the end the service centre personnel told me, 'Do not update anything unnecessary. At all.' Why? Because Windows 8 is too unstable for their brand of laptop. Are you joking?! Even so, I was unable to get any refunds, only three months warranty extension. It's so bullshit.

After the forceful update of Windows 8.1, I couldn't access any browsers - Chrome and Internet Explorer. Fucking joke. My internet was working fine, except that the browser showed 'ERR_FAILED'. I have no idea why but there's no system restore point set up on my laptop. Like the hell I should know there was such a function. I'm so not a computer geek! Thankfully, a YouTubber saved my day. Really, life-savior. My laptop should thank him because I'm already on the verge of slamming it onto the damn wall since it already sucks so badly. Still, I'm stuck with Windows 8.1 and it better not give me any more problems.

I am now even more looking forward to the doomsday of my this pathetic Asus laptop so I have a real good reason to purchase MacBook. Yes, MacBook has it flaws too but at least it's stable with its own operating system. Windows just sucks. And Asus, my no. 1 blacklist brand. Ever.
