Manners

What would you do when there's a free seat and this auntie suddenly appeared beside you and tries to snatch the seat away from you; when she failed, she demanded, 'Excuse me, I want to sit down.'

I don't know about you, but it's a big no-no for me. This happened to me earlier the week and I was already sitting down and she just wanted to snatch my seat away. Not a chance, you auntie. If she had kindly approach me saying, 'Excuse me miss, I really need the seat.', I would have joyfully gave the seat up. Manners please! So, I just sat down and stared at her, holding my rebuttal back, 'Excuse me auntie, I also want to sit down.' I didn't cause I'm not actually that mean, but she literally refused to move in and keep standing beside me. I almost wanted to ring someone and say loudly, 'What are we gonna have at Harbor Front?' Then again, the devil is always messing around my brain. I am not that mean.

I swear she wouldn't approach another auntie and tell her the same thing. So why should the young ones be bullied? Get on to the bus/train also get pushed by older generations; get judged when we hog seats though the tiredness is spread all over our faces. No, I'll never get bullied by these people. I will stand up for my own rights. If they don't respect the young ones, they shouldn't even receive an ounce of due respect. That's right, an eye for an eye.
