Healthiness at its peak

We used to procrastinate when our parents dragged us out for a run, especially during the cny period. Guess what? It's been more than a decade since the three of us decided to workout together!

& this calls for a photo to commemorate:

Think it was the third day of cny when both my parents dragged me out of bed. I'm also surprised why I wasn't in a bad mood. I hate waking up early on days which I can sleep in. Period. Must be the working lifestyle took over my body clock and made me ok with it.

So dad brought us to visit the china lake. Gorgeous view. We spent half an hour there trying to snap a shot of ourselves. Haha, this may be the only cny that we were all on the health hiatus. But the hike was such a failed exercise. Less than 10 km in two hours? LOL.

Look at all our muscles!

Chinese New Year

How was your cny? Mine has been a rather FAT year. Thank you everyone who has contributed to 'Yuya's bank', greatly appreciated!! Been house-hopping about to blend into the festive spirit, which I'm still not a huge fan of. But free money leh, why not? Once a year only too.

I just wanted to say, I'm officially disliking the idea of reunion dinner. Basically, my family would have two reunion dinners per year. Following the days of the dinner, we'll have steamboat lunch again. Meaning, I'm having FOUR steamboats in a week. This is not even including the ones which I'm going to have during house visiting. Someone please save me!

I think we've all grown up to stop being such a brat. Dearest bro and yours truly made the effort to go 'shopping' with our parents for the oranges. The crowd was horrible as usual. But the oranges were dirt cheap I tell you! Seven bucks for a carton!

So this year marks the last year that my sister can collect angpao cause she's getting married! Fyi, by law, she's already married, but by customs, she's not because the wedding banquet has not been thrown.

I look damn fat here ......

This concludes my fifteen days of Chinese New Year! Thank you to all the families for having me over & the food too! & my apologies to those whom I won money at in Blackjack. My first time in 23 years! I didn't think that AF would be the gambling kind but haha this year they're all rather enthusiastic too. Love the time spent catching up with all of you (& y'all need to stop winning my money *sobs*)!

Didn't eat much of the goodies this year because I need to stay the same size to fit my sister's wedding day's dinner dress. Sucks but yay to no weight gain.

It's a sign

I was so drained out by the festive and school and work that I didn't realize how tired I was until I'm forgot my breakfast, gave up my lunch for nap time, and kept counting down to 5.30 pm.

That was only four days of fun and chilling. I've really aged ......... T.T

By the way, Happy Chinese New Year everybody!

Reunion

It's the time of the year again!! Time for some 'louhei'!! Probably I'm the only one on Earth who feels awkward with 'louhei' and shouting all the idioms (which I don't even recall ever learning them too), and the biscuits / abalone are the only ingredients I sort of eat among the mess. I really do hate getting my hands sticky from the honey too. But, I love this hype ok! So fun to 'louhei' still.

Gotta thank my awesome classmates for being so steady (seriously this steadiness only popped out after we all graduated ....) and chop chop they settled on this coffee shop, and dearest tue couple went ahead with the reservation too! Awesomeness x10!

I'm very guilty for being noisy about being famished and I was giving a *death stare* at Jh because she ordered 6 dishes for the twelve of us. Where got enough!! Yours truly here has a mega huge appetite, big enough to eat a bull y'know?!?! Haha, ended up we topped up two more dishes.

The most epic moments were dearest tue couple failed badly attempting to take photo of the dishes because we all went ahead with eating before she could lay her hands on them. Very mean I know but famished people are impatient people. HAHA.

(Which was the only dish we allowed her to spend extra time taking a shot haha)

& let the madness begin!!!

See see!! That's my poor chopsticks getting 'lou' together. Sigh pie.
Awesome laughs. Awesome reunion. Awesome mates. More to come!
